‘My hope was simple - I wanted to help my students close their learning gaps in a way that was structured and meaningful.’
In many classrooms, students who struggle quietly begin to believe they are not capable of learning. For Cikgu Magdeline Anak Medang, a remedial teacher at SK Methodist Kapit, changing that belief has been her mission for the past 16 years. Through Program Anak Kita, she found new ways to help students rebuild their literacy and numeracy foundations, one small step at a time. . .

YCF–YDD STEM 4 Concludes Its First Cycle
The YCF–YDD STEM Programme has successfully concluded its first cycle earlier this year. Designed to bridge the digital divide, the programme supports schools in moving beyond basic ICT exposure towards meaningful cyber-physical digital learning. Implemented across three districts, Lawas, Penampang, and Bangsar Pudu, the programme reached 1,259 students and 48 teachers across 24 schools.

STEM-4-All: When Teachers Lead, Students Rise
Since 2024, STEM-4-All, in collaboration with Yayasan PETRONAS, has been working towards a simple mission, empowering B40 primary school teachers to ignite their students’ passion for STEM.
Over two years, we witnessed 21 schools grow their STEM learning culture. Despite limited facilities and resources, teachers worked tirelessly to ensure that around 800 students gained not only technology skills, but also confidence, creativity, and teamwork. More details
