Never doubt that a small group of thoughtful, committed people can change the world. Indeed, it is the only thing that ever has.

Monitoring & Evaluation (M&E) for our Community Initiatives

Through rigorous data collection, analysis, and reporting in our community initiatives, our Monitoring & Evaluation (M&E) efforts provide valuable insights that drive continuous improvement and accountability. By systematically evaluating our initiatives, we are able to make informed decisions, enhance program effectiveness, and achieve our mission with greater precision and transparency. Collaborating closely with Protean Consulting, we craft our M&E framework to ensure excellence and drive positive change in every initiative we undertake, in accordance with OECD’s Evaluation Criteria.

WE RUN COMPETITIONS FOR PRIMARY AND SECONDARY SCHOOL KIDS

More than 5,000 students from across the country participate annually

Endorsed by the Ministry of Education Malaysia (MOE) and part of the #MyDigitalMaker movement by Malaysia Digital Economy Corporation (MDEC), our competitions welcome students from all backgrounds to come together under a common platform (technology) and express their creativity through their innovative projects.

Young Innovators Challenge started in 2013 with the objective of catalysing the maker movement in secondary schools.

Students identify real-life problems within their community and prototype the solutions with open source technologies. Winners are mentored by professionals in order to finetune their prototypes for community adoption.

Junior Innovate, started in 2018, is a competition to inspire digital creator mindset and life skills amongst primary school students.

Students apply open-source platforms such as Arduino or micro:bit to their creativity by upcycling their toys or designing a game.
