SMD IC DESIGN MAKE-A-THON 2024 REGISTRATIONS ARE NOW OPEN!

Recognising the importance of education and practical experience, SMD Semiconductor Sarawak is excited to host the inaugural SMD IC Design Make-a-thon, a 3-day competition designed for university and secondary school students with a focus on unravelling circuit design - the foundational skill for aspiring chip designers. Wrapping up our state maker fairs, students teams that received the ‘Gold Award’ are tasked with crafting a 5-min video* to stand a chance at being shortlisted as one of the Top 15 Teams eligible to compete in the National-Level competition! STUDENTS IN PAPAR ARE CRAFTING FASCINATING PROJECTS AS PART OF IDM 4.0!

As part of Hap Seng Group’s Ignite Digital Maker 4.0 programme, school teachers are equipped with the necessary skills derived from Chumbaka’s teacher training content to effectively guide their students in creating competitive projects to be showcased at the nearest maker fair! STEM-4-ALL’S TEACHER TRAINING SESSIONS TAKE A CREATIVE TURN!

TEACHERS ENGAGE IN PEER TO PEER LEARNING IN YCF’S TEACHER TRAINING WORKSHOP!
