WHAT IS THE ROLE OF AN INTERN?

Our work revolves around the theme of Making, Innovation, and Education.

We are looking for young minds with a thirst for learning to help shape the future of education.

Qualities we look for?

everything from coding, 3D printing, children education, innovation practices to program management!

Excellent communication skills

both written and verbal, particularly in English.

Self-starter

with ‘can-do’ attitude, fast-learner and tenacious. Passionate in a subject or a cause.

Proficient in digital tools

such as Google apps, event management, multimedia editing and website design.

Keen to make a difference

in education within the community and society.

Undergraduates or postgraduates

from, but not limited to ICT, Engineering, Education, Law, and even Accounting!

BUILD YOUR PORTFOLIOS

What projects are you expected to lead?

Based on your interests and skills, you will take ownership of a chosen portfolio or project to grow your technical and/or life skills. Throughout the process, you will be guided by our team. The examples of the portfolios are (but not limited to):

Technology development

Explore state-of-the-art technology in learning, and build DIY projects (from cloud-based weather station to plastic recycling machine, from Cryptocurrency Smart Contract to CubeSat)

Branding and marketing

Building brand presence through various online and offline media, curating stories and running outreach programs with projects such as Maker Mobile and What’s Your X.

Program management

Organising various initiatives to further propagate the Maker Movement to the community such as Game Jam and Beyond the Moon.
